Autumn is here and that means Halloween is just around the corner! There are lots of decorations in the shops at the moment but, as always, I love creating my own unique items for our home. The process is fun and it’s nice to have something that no one else has too. This season is my favourite – I love how cosy autumn is. I love nights in at home with my family, watching a film under a blanket on the sofa together.
I’ve created a few items using Snapfish to spruce up our living room a bit this season. I had Halloween in mind when designing these products but they work well throughout autumn.

Packing up and moving cities means finding ways to carry my favourite moments with me, not just on my camera roll, to help make somewhere new feel a little more like home.
I took some stunning images on a recent trip to the seaside and I wanted to turn them into something a little different. Not being very creative with a paintbrush, I tend to turn my photos into wall art, but I wanted something that looked more like a watercolour or an oil painting – so I looked for a suitable app on my phone. I found Sketch Guru, but there are plenty out there.
It was so easy to apply the filter and I then simply uploaded the new photo into Snapfish.
I came across this beautiful tile in a car boot sale and wanted to make something with it. I had originally just hung it on the wall, but I wanted a more modern twist and to ideally have something a little larger.

We’ve just moved into a new house and updated the bathroom. Thinking about the decoration took ages but we finally decided on some tiles and a pale colour scheme. Then we started thinking about colour. We didn’t want a garish Avocado Green bathroom of our childhood, but did want to lift the stark white somehow.
