Remember early on in 2020 when we thought this whole pandemic thing would be over in just a few weeks? Unfortunately, coronavirus has overstayed its welcome and we\u2019ve had to adjust to a new normal. This has meant changes in how we interact with one another, which is especially evident as we\u2019re heading into this festive season. While it looks like we won\u2019t be able to spend Christmas or New Year\u2019s Eve with all our loved ones, we can still celebrate the spirit of the season by sending Christmas greeting cards<\/a> to those we can’t meet in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Photo cards<\/a> are a great way of staying connected with family and friends when you can\u2019t be there in person! That\u2019s why we\u2019ve been hard at work creating new card designs that your loved ones are sure to enjoy. Since this year has been so unique, we decided to create a collection of social distancing Christmas cards \u2014heartfelt with a dash of humour!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing says Christmas like cosy sweaters, gloves, stockings, and beanies. Throw in a face mask and a roll of toilet paper and you\u2019ve got yourself a COVID Christmas card<\/a>. If you\u2019d like to pay tribute to a rock n\u2019 roll legend, you\u2019ll love our Blue Without You<\/a> design that features sentimental song lyrics we can all relate to this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the year we\u2019ve all had, it\u2019s no surprise that most people are ready to say, good riddance to 2021. With this in mind, we created the light-hearted Over Yet New Year card<\/a> that wants to know \u201cIs this year over yet?\u201d This design has plenty of space for you to customise and write in what you\u2019ve been up to this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you haven\u2019t seen, Snapfish and Macmillan<\/a> are working in partnership to raise vital funds to ensure that people affected by cancer receive support when they need it the most. With this in mind, we created a few light-hearted designs that celebrate our resiliency. We Survived 202<\/a>1 and We Made It To 202<\/a>2 are sure to be rallying cries we\u2019ll hear as we ring in the new year. For the exhausted among us, you\u2019ll appreciate both our Is 2021 Over Yet?<\/a> and Over Yet<\/a>designs. If you have lots of photos you\u2019d like to highlight this year, you\u2019ll love the collage layout of our Hindsight 202<\/a>1 card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that you\u2019ve found a card design<\/a> you like, it\u2019s time to customise! If you\u2019ve chosen one of our quarantine card designs, you\u2019ll see they are flat photo cards sold in sets of 20 and available in sizes 7\u00d75\u201d, 8\u00d74\u201d, or 8\u00d76\u201d; whereas our greeting cards<\/a> are sold as single folded 7\u00d75\u201d cards. After you\u2019ve decided on a size, your next choice is the paper type. You can choose from gloss or matt cardstock in our flat card and our standard greeting cards are available on glossy cardstock only. Lastly, you can opt for a square or rounded trim with our flat format quarantine cards. Once you\u2019ve received your cards from us in the post, now comes the fun part \u2014 signing, sealing, and sending! Before you start, make sure you have all the necessary tools on hand like pens, stamps, and your address book. If you have little ones in the house, they can help out by signing their own name or drawing a cute picture on the card or envelope (or if you upload a scan of their handwriting as a photo when you make the card, we can print this as part of the greeting inside). Don\u2019t worry about trying to write a novel in your card. Keeping things short and sweet is always in style.
