Christmas is quickly getting closer and it’s time to start getting organised and to think about gifts for loved ones. I love receiving and giving personalised gifts that are original and designed just for the recipient. A lot of thought and love goes into gifts like that and that makes them mean more.

Photos, photos, everywhere – and what better way to use them than to make the perfect (Christmas) gift?
I’ve written many times before about how I’m as snap-happy as the next blogger / proud mama and how I’m always looking to make the most of my photos.
And part of this is making special gifts for friends and family.
I’ve made personalised calendars for friends and family for a few years now (I missed out last year to the disappointment of some!) and I’ve been looking for other fun ways to bring photos, and the memories they represent, to life.
The best way to stop all those masterpieces piling up is to scan and upload your kids art and to your secure Snapfish account! You can really showcase the work as a large poster print, smaller table top photo panels, coasters or even a couple of small magnets for the fridge.
If you don’t have a scanner, you can photograph their art. Be sure to lay it against a plain, white background, zoom in close enough to see details, and use a flash.
You can easily crop, rotate, or adjust the brightness of your digital images with our free editing tools. Click on ‘edit & organise’ and then ‘fix & enhance’ on your photos page to get started.
We’ve put together a handy guide on how to create 2016 Photo Calendars that will revamp your walls and keep you organised all year long.
Print off your Instagram snaps using our Snapfish mobile app, and create this quick and easy DIY 4×4″ photo frame! This DIY is quick and simple, and can be done using, 4×4″ prints, 6×4″ prints, or even cards.

I’ve always loved writing, whether I’m good at it or not, I find it quite therapeutic and this year I decided to turn my hand to writing a story photo book for Isabella’s 3rd birthday. I had thought about it for a long time but only got around to doing something about it recently. Snapfish helped out and printed it for me so it looks and feels like a real book.
