I swear my wedding never actually happened, it’s only been 5 months and it feels like a very distant memory. Which is one reason I was determined to get a wedding album made up for us to look through. We were going to go through our wedding photographer, however because of budgets (hello buying next house) we decided to look for a more budget friendly option. Enter Snapfish.

Calling all animal lovers! Andy Parker here, Snapfish Brand Copy Director and dog lover. Recently, I created a photo book dedicated to the two furry loves of my life, my dogs Bear and Dozer. I had a lot of amazing photos to work with (thanks to my husband), which made creating my book a blast. I took lots of notes for you, so if you’re interested in creating a photo book to celebrate your fur babies, read on for pointers and setters. And no more bad puns, I promise.

childhood artwork

Childhood artwork often cycles from fridge frames to closet clutter faster than relatives can say, “Look how tall you’ve grown!” Instead of banishing my cherished drawings and paintings to the attic to collect dust, I compiled my proudest masterpieces into a beautiful book that doubles as a delightful coffee table tome and nostalgic keepsake.

One of my goals for 2016 is to capture more of life through photos and to then find more creative ways to get them off my camera and phone and into the real world.  I’ve been sharing ideas like my insta-wall, printed canvases and photo gift tags so I was delighted when Snapfish challenged me to come up with a way to use their products to either achieve or immortalise my new year’s resolutions (sometimes things just click you know).

I decided to create the ultimate coffee table book – one that would be filled with photographs from important events across the last year.  Easy right?  Snapfish offer lots of photo book options (check them out here) and the site is really easy to use – you simply upload all of the photos you want to include (or choose from) and then your can design your book page by page, changing the background, layout and even editing photos as you wish.  There’s even an autofill function which would work brilliantly if you were capturing one event or moment.

I’ve always loved writing, whether I’m good at it or not, I find it quite therapeutic and this year I decided to turn my hand to writing a story photo book for Isabella’s 3rd birthday. I had thought about it for a long time but only got around to doing something about it recently. Snapfish helped out and printed it for me so it looks and feels like a real book.
